Reason #49 Showing, Sharing, Seeing

I am so lucky to work with such gifted artists and deep thinkers.  People ask “How do you do it? How do you work with high school students? That is a tough age” My response is that it is easy and I love it. It is what I am meant to do in life.  I want to ask them, “How do you work with adults? Any age is a tough age.”

Here is Bruno’s response to the question: What is your response to the talk about the “Before I die, I want to _____ “ wall? What impact did it have on you? What impact could it have here at school?

What I find profound about his response it its simplicity:

showing, sharing, and seeing.

All three are required for us to really get to know someone, to see them as family. It is so simple. Together we can all show, share, and see.  Then we can be a family, one of our own creation. That is a beautiful thing!

Who would not work with high school students?

Merci Bruno pour ta créativité, ton esprit, et tes sentiments.  Je suis si heureuse que tu étudies le français et que tu sois dans ma famille !

This is why I teach !
