You never know
what a difference you will make in someone’s day with a little gesture of
kindness. Simple, little gestures need
great appreciation and recognition.
As the craziness
of the day was going on in my French I class, one of my students, Thérèse, gave
me a cute little valentine and candy. It
has been awhile since I received one and I so appreciated the thought. I reminded me of the days of filling out
everyone’s name and making sure they got just the right one. We really are
never too old for these kinds of things!
Well, why was this
gesture so important? It happened to be
the one Valentine card I got and how wonderful it was! It truly is the little
things that make life beautiful.
This is why I teach!
